Some of you may have received a message from our first case of site spam. It was an affectionate letter from Ms. Joyce Orizu. In most cases, it would have brought a tear to a glass eye because of her sadness to find a "long term relationship in a man of your kind who unerderstands (her spelling, not mine) the need to love and be loved." Call me a weakling but I cried at the end of Titanic, Where the Red Fern Grows and Old Yeller. Some were flattered, some were shocked, some welled up with emotion, some were annoyed but we all knew this was just another sign of Cutcaster's growing success.
Our first case of a spammer using our site mail. Hurraaaahhhhhhhh!!!!
The message went like this if you didn't see it:
Hello, Hopefully this mail will find you in a perfect state of mind and good healthy condition.I am looking for a long term relationship in a man of your kind who unerderstands the need to love and be loved. I have taken time to see the age difference us but this is really within my choice of age range and I have no problems with that. I sincerely find you. and I am very interesting in knowing you and hear more from you. Included here with this mail is my e-mail address through which you can reach me. (joyceorizu@yahoo.co.uk) I really look forward to reading from you soon. Thanks. Yours Truly Love Miss joyce...
Joyce signed up for the site on the 16th and since then felt it necessary to email about 75 of you. Bad, bad girl. It's hard to imagine that she felt the exact same way about all of you that got the message but I don't want to burst anyone's bubble ;-) hahaha.
Rest assured, Joyce won't be with us any longer at Cutcaster. She has been recorded, placed on our Cutcaster's Wall of Shame and been ejected from the site. If you want to reach out to Joyce, you can email her on the email she provided above. My advice if you got the message is to just ignore Joyce or better yet save her email address and sign up for every spam newsletter and site that you know using her email address and return the favor. To those of you not amused by Joyce, I am sorry for her advances.

Update: So yesterday, after I found out about this site spammer, I emailed them to find out more about Ms. Joyce. Well it turns out that she wrote me back.
I don't even want to post what she wrote for fear that I might get tagged or marked as a spammer because the message would be crawled but let me assure you that it is a crazy story. If you get an email from her again just ignore it. Cheers.
Loved the idea of using a spammer's email to back-spam them . . . guess I'll be collecting spam email addresses to have some fun with . . .

If anyone did, please feel free to contact me (a Nigerian diplomat) with your personal info, bank account numbers, social security number, etc., so that I can make a cash deposit of $10,000,000 to your bank account until I can safely arrive in your home country to retrieve the funds. I will of course compensate anyone handsomely with 10% of the total sum who will help me with this large transfer.

So freaking funny. I have another guy Patrick Chan who is a dignitary from the breakaway province of the Ivory Coast and was once a general who happened to find a large sum of money as well and wants to share it with me to help fund cutcaster. I was thinking of introducing him to Joyce. I think they would get along great.
