Lucky Oliver shutting its' doors

I'm sad to report that LO is shutting their doors. I really liked their site's look and feel.

  1. Wow, I didn't know that was happening. I didn't care for the circus aspect, but a lot of people like LO. I never joined that one.

  2. It is sad to see LO closing the doors. I liked there fresh design and friendly environment. I liked that the reviewer/bouncers left a personal note on the reviews. It was not just a copy and past response, it had detail. Very helpful. I wish the members of the LO team good luck for the future.

  3. I agree with you henrik. what are other things that you liked about LO that you think we could do as well which contributors really appreciate and like. From the sounds of it, I've only heard good things about the people that work there and how they responded to their users.

  4. It was the friendly and personal environment. The way the buyers, contributors, reviewer, LO’s CEO, and LO’s team member personally interact in the forum. Fast and easy upload process. There was a submission history of the reviews you could go back to. Each rejection had a personal note from the reviewer why this image was rejected. There were ways to bring photos up on the front page with commenting. But a good system alone is not bringing the success. You have to bring in the buyers! I don’t know how they marked LO and how big the marketing budged was. But I think that it is possible that there was the problem.

  5. I was on LO and it was a great place.
It was easy to find your way around and interact with everyone .
Here , I uploaded some photos and can't find them anywhere , I don't know where they are or what is happening with them .
Is there a place to actually see if they are pending or are they lost in cyberspace ?

  6. Sad to see them go. I liked their layout, with the ODDitorium and the token system. They were very folksy and warm, unlike the manyu cold as ice stock agencies that seem run by andriods.

  7. I am sorry too. I only used it a few times but it seemed special.
