Disclaimer-This is safe for work. Seeing banned commercial like this BMW ad makes us at Cutcaster want to meet creators like this and turns our brain into overdrive about the possibilities of the Internet as a distribution mechanism for content like this, which may be too edgy for TV. Let me know what you think of the commercial and also if you know who created it. I found this ad over at Ads of the World. Check it out here.

Do you remember your first sale? We do!!!
Not bad. I'm not sure why it was banned, but there is a lot of talk about objectification of women in advertising. Perhaps? The over all meme of the ad is 'monogamy rules', right? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteInternet is a democratic place but we must not forget that we cannot offend people using it. The ad indeed was offending.

I agree with Mr. Armand Rousso , we must not forget that we cannot offend people using it.
ReplyDeleteArmand you make a good point. I wonder when the day will come that we get a ratings system like they have for films.
