Videojug...

A link on Solution Watch gave us a heads-up about the relaunch of the how-to video site, VideoJug. It's actually a pretty cool site, and if Wikihow ever went public, VideoJug would probably be at the top of their acquisition list as it purports to have over 18,000 FREE how-to videos. Is anybody familiar with this site and how they got up and running with this "expert" advice and professional video content?

  1. Not sure how they populated their content, but I can almost guarantee they paid their producers. It's a very similar concept to Expert Village who also pays creators to make How To videos...

  2. Hello, I work for VideoJug so I thought I'd set the record straight. We produce the vast majority of our content (around 98% at the moment) ourselves at our production facilities in LA and in London. We encourage the VideoJug community to submit their own expertise and knowledge to share with the world, but this is vetted first by our editorial teams to make sure the content imparts knowledge or expertise in some way, to maintain the high quality of information offered. Glad you like the site - please let me know any other comments you may have!
